The Eye Clinic is a fairly new facility in the area where I work and it is well provided by public transport and is provided with a suitable parking facility for this kind of practice. The staff is very helpful and co-operative. The clinic is very tidy and comfortable. I was also informed regularly of my appointment schedule.

Clean place n really spacious. First time I saw a doctor's initials on his sofas which to me is a plus to make me want to go there as I'm fussy about my sruffs and like my sruffs to be organised n happly to see so much common things. Not scary at all n friendly staff n they should carry on to be so. Just parking is a big issue at Port Louis n that we can't help. Eye clinic staffs were nice just apollo staffs weren't unfortunately

First of all let me congratulate Dr Carrim for having chosen to be reviewed online which reflects the needs of our contemporary society. Coming to me i had a myopic vision due to a visually significant cataract in my right eye and was very lucky to have the cataract extraction surgery done by Dr Carrim. He is a very passionate and committed professional with a caring listening capacity. He makes you feel comfortable while being patient and probing your medical problem before giving his diagnostic. He would explain every options i have with simple details while inviting any questions i had. I felt so confident during my consultation that i agreed to go for immediate surgery. The preoperative consulting was excellent. i trusted him and accepted to have surgery with topical anaesthesia only and i don't regret. All through the surgery Dr Carrim would brief me about every action he was doing and could follow it in live. it took only 15 minutes and i did not felt any pain except some pressure on my eye. The surgery was very successful and mastered by a seasoned artist. The follow up check and review was great as well as the feedback. The proactive correspondence is very helpful and useful too. It was really an amazing experience and hats off to this new breed of transparent professional. Thank you very much Dr Carrim

Forget the equipment, the ability of Dr Carrim, or the cleanliness of the Clinic - they have got it all right.
What you need to know is that after the diagnosis, Dr Carrim became an integral part of the family. It is amazing and trust me words would not suffice how well he did his "Passion", rather than for me to say his work with Passion.
Just blindly trust him, he will take every care to explain to the patient and family of what his course of action will be to the path of recovery. I have been abroad and got treatments personally in the best equipped hospital and the best doctors - even then he surprised me with the authenticity with which he goes about his work and cared for his patient - before, during and after the surgery and even post operative recovery.
Hats off the Artist, truely impressive. Just keep your trust in him! Simpler said than done you will ask me. But I have seen him in action. You just need to be patient for the 1st appointment as he is in such great demand, but the secretary said he will call - then he will call you back.
For the records of other potential patients: my father in law had his retina into pieces...requiring emergency intervention. Ops was successfully arranged , performed and followed up by the Eye Clinic.
Dr my Father in law is for ever grateful to you - he has worked hard all his life and can start enjoying life with a vision thanks to you. THANK YOU.
